Proverbs 3:6 – “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Are you walking on the right path? Many Christians ask themselves this important question frequently. The questioning often happens when someone realizes their decisions have caused chaos and stress in their life. Everyone would like to think they make the right choices that will lead them to the right path. However, sometimes our decisions can take a detour and lead us down a complex path.
Psalm 25:10 – “All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.”
The detour paths usually cause feelings of stress, anxiety, worry and anger. If you are feeling these emotions on a daily basis you should stop for a moment and think deeply. Focus on the situation that is stirring these emotions in you. Is it just one situation or a variety of problems?
Can these problems be solved by making different choices? Perhaps, by following the 10 commandments? Through faith, you can find the right path and improve your life. This might not happen overnight. But, once you start taking steps in the right direction it will lead you to the right path.
As you evaluate your life, focus on areas that need improvement. Find scripture to motivate and encourage you to choose wisely. Start moving towards the right direction by making decisions that are righteous.
It is essential, to be honest with yourself and ask yourself, “Am I following the right path?” God wants you to live in peace, happiness, and abundance. Is your life reflecting those things?
If areas of your life need improvement continue to work on them wisely. Stay faithful and believe that God turns all into good. It might not feel that way at the moment, but in time you will see.
Have you had moments in the past when you thought everything was going wrong? Did you work hard to fix it but it just stayed the same? These moments test our faith. Perhaps a few months later that difficult situation you were dealing with suddenly revealed a better path. When you are on the right path, your soul feels restored and you feel confident in your life choices. The scripture listed below is an excellent reminder that you are never alone on your path.
Psalm 23:2-3 – “He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
