Isaiah 9:2 “The people who walk in the darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them.”
Are you experiencing a dark time in your life? Many of us go through several periods of darkness throughout our lifetime. Those of us who have gone through the experience once usually have faith that everything will work out the second time and so on. But if you are going through a dark period in your life for the first time it can be quite scary.
Unfortunately, many people become so consumed with stress over the difficulties in life they overlook the one thing, the Lord, that can bring them love and comfort, even during their darkest moments. You need to realize you are not alone on your journey through life, the Lord is always with you.

Luke 1:79 “To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Matthew 4:16 “The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great light and those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a light dawned.”
John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
2 Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who had shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”
1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a Chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of the darkness into His marvelous light;”
Ephesians 5:8 “For you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walks as children of light.”
John 8:12 “Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”
Acts 26:18 “To open their eyes so that they may turn from the darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith and Me.”
Matthew 10:27 “What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.”
